It's unavoidable that small children catch all kinds of minor infections particulary when they are new to a nursery setting .
We ask parents to keep children at home if they have an infectious illness or temperature to prevent the other children from becoming ill . Only when the fever has subsided for a whole day should you return your child to the nursery.
For cases of sickness and diarrhea we ask for a 48hour exclusion period from the last episode to prevent the spread of infection.
Please contact us if you need advice on exclusion periods .
